1. Pre-Owned Condition
All of our timepieces are pre-owned unless otherwise specified. As such, light signs of wear are to be expected, including but not limited to hairline scratches on the case, lugs, bracelet, or crystal. Each watch is carefully inspected and described to the best of our ability. While we strive for accuracy, minor imperfections may not always be captured in the listing. Should any significant discrepancy arise, we will work with you to find a fair resolution.
2. Inspection Window
You have 24 hours from the time of delivery (verified by direct signature via FedEx/UPS/DHL) to report any concerns if the watch is not as described. After this inspection period, all sales are considered final.
3. Credit Card Payments
We gladly accept credit card payments from returning clients only. Please note that a 4% processing fee will be applied to these transactions.
4. Shipping & Insurance
All watches are shipped fully insured via FedEx Priority Overnight for a flat fee of $125. Saturday delivery is available at an additional cost. In cases where FedEx service is unavailable, UPS will be used as the alternative carrier. Modern Grail Co does not ship via USPS. Each watch is securely packaged, with the entire process video documented to ensure safe delivery.
5. Service & Performance
Listings will note whether a watch has been recently serviced. If it is outside of the recommended service interval and has not been serviced, we will test the movement on a timegrapher and provide results showing timekeeping performance against COSC standards. If a service is deemed necessary but not performed prior to sale, this will be disclosed in the listing. Otherwise, you can expect your watch to run reliably and not require immediate service.
6. Photography
All photos are taken with professional equipment, including macro lenses, to capture condition in detail. Some imperfections may appear more pronounced in photos than to the naked eye.
7. Authenticity Guarantee
Every watch we sell is 100% authentic. Listings will note whether the piece includes original papers, warranty documentation, or authentication paperwork tied to the serial number. Any missing items will be clearly stated in the description.
8. Returns
If a return is initiated within the 24-hour inspection period, the buyer is responsible for return shipping. Returns must be shipped via FedEx, fully insured, and packaged with equal or greater care than received. Our insurance requires this and there are no exceptions.
